Weed Barrier
If weeds are a major problem around your trees and shrubs, landscape fabric is a great solution. The porous material covers the soil surface, but unlike plastic sheeting, it allows water and air to pass through the microscopic pores without allowing most weeds to penetrate. The fabric should then be covered with a layer of mulch. We recommend decorative rocks, mulch or wood chips.
